Mulligan

I don't get to photograph golf often, which is too bad, really. Today, no matter how much I tried, I could not get a photograph of driver on ball with tee and dirt flying around. I was either too early, too late, or the tee shot was perfect and the tee was left sitting in its place. The top photo is as close as I came, but as you can see, it's missing two of my four requirements.

The bottom photo is three members of a foursome (or would it be foresome?) waiting for the people in front of them to finish the hole. This group kept bumping up against the twosome ahead of them, which makes little sense.

America's rainy day

Shot a few 4th of July events this weekend, all in the rain. These are just a few of the images, and I may add more later.

Cigar break

I don't shoot a lot of weddings, and so far, of the ones I've shot, I haven't really been a big fan of wedding photography. Battling poorly lit banquet halls for proper lighting and decent composition is a bit of a drag. A wedding I shot on Friday, though, was a bit better as the reception was held at a nice Italian restaurant. Towards the end of the night, I was able to get this photo of the groom (center) and other wedding goers smoking cigars in the parking lot.

Graduation boredom

Got a little bored while shooting back-to-back high school graduations a few weeks ago, and found some people in the crowd as bored as me.
